Planktos Officially Ceases Operations

Just saw a press release on the planktos web site which indicates that Planktos is dead, as rumoured.

The release says: "Management has radically downsized the firm" and "options include a possible re-launch of planned marine operations"...

Let's translate. According to a former crew member, "all employees were laid off, including science personnel", and "the boat is being sold".

Sounds like dead to me. Oh well, hope the others working in this area have better luck.
